Acceptance to SMU Dance Department

CDP School Levels
CDP Professional (Cangelosi Dance Project Company) CDP professional level dancer are performers ages 17 and older who are pursuing a dance career or wish to continue their stage experience during their college years. The professional level consists of dancers who train at the CDP School in classical ballet, contemporary dance, tap, jazz, fitness class and follow a weekly rehearsal schedule. The CDP Company has a very active performance schedule. The CDP company member’s season begins August 9th 2010 thru May 2011.
Cangelosi Dance Project Professional Auditions 2010
August 9th and 16th at 6:30pmLocation: 3749 Perkins Rd Seeking Male and Female dancers ages 18 and over. Be prepare to take a ballet class, bring resume, photo and dance attire for audition. CDP Advanced Dance Program II
Student's ages 13 thru 18 who have an intermediate/adv level of dance and  study an intensive dance program in classical ballet, Pointe, variation, contemporary, modern dance, tap dance, fitness, and repertory for performances four to five times a week. The company consists of High School or Home school students who perform main stage performances, showcases, invited events and interested in dance competitions in solo, duet, trio and group category. Intermediate/Advanced Dance Program I
Student's ages 10 thru 13 who have an intermediate level of dance and  study an intensive dance program in classical ballet, Pointe, variation, contemporary, modern dance, tap dance, and repertory for performances three to five times a week. Student Dance Program

CDP Open Division
CDP opens the school for students who study at other locations, programs or schools in the area and wish to come to the CDP school program for classical technique classes. Classes are limited and students who wish to study in the open division need to call for enrollment. Students enroll in the school on a monthly agreement.
