We also offer a variety of dance classes at Cangelosi Dance Project, including ballet, jazz, tap, acro, lyrical and contemporary. There's something for everyone, regardless of skill level.

The Cangelosi Dance Project Holiday Nutcracker under Artistic Director/Choreographer Kris Cangelosi held their shows December 20th with two shows 1pm and 4pm held at Brown-Holt Theatre in Baton Rouge. LA. This year we have invited professional ballerina from Ballet Spartanburg Maddie Kucensky to perform Sugar Plum Fairy, and professional dancer Daniel Therrien to perform Russian. Returning as our Uncle Drosslmeyer will be performed by Jeremy Wesley. Additional professional dancers who are past students of Kris Cangelosi are Angelique Francois performing mechanical doll and Arabian, Courtney David as the party maid and the Guardian Angel, Nicole Crochet performing party maid and Mother Ginger. Emmy Wesley will be playing the featured solo role Clara while Mary Bowman Staples will be playing her little sister Grace. Cangelosi has also invited pre-professional dancers Leila Pitcovich as Angel Queen and Olivia Burns soloist for Spanish.

Classical Ballet
At Cangelosi Dance Project students learn the Classical method and codified vocabulary for long term training. Pointe class is offered to dancers intermediate through pre-professional. Classes taught by Kris Cangelosi
Contemporary Dance
Explore your creative side with our contemporary dance classes. Our instructors will guide you through expressive movements and techniques that will help you tell your own story. Classes taught by Kris Cangelosi, Angelique Francois, and Hannah Kimbrough
Jazz Dance
Learn the high-energy and dynamic moves of jazz dance in our classes. Our instructors will teach you the techniques and steps that make jazz dance exciting, energetic and challenging! CDP Staff
Children's Dance Classes
Introduce your child to the joy of dance with our kids' classes. We offer a variety of styles and levels for children of all ages including Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Acro.

Private Dance Lessons from Baton Rouge to Biloxi
Kris Cangelosi, expert master teacher is passionate about dance and committed to her students' success. She teaches private dance classes in Classical Ballet, modern dance technique and overall body strength for today's dancers to succeed.
Daniel Therrien, expert master teacher is passionate about dance and committed to his students continuing success. He teaches privates in Acro and tumbling.

Cangelosi Dance Project hosts various outreach performances, allowing students to showcase their skills. These events create a sense of achievement and community, as dancers share the stage with their peers. Cangelosi Dance Project provides a professional dance path for students who are interested in making the performing arts their career or have a strong sense to succeed through college, intensive summer studies, conservatories, stage, commercial industries, or productions shows. Cangelosi students have entered several dance programs in colleges, summer dance conservatories, professional dance companies with Giordano Dance Chicago, South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory, Broadway shows, Commercials, College dance teams, Ballet companies and modern dance companies and much more.
